In the future, on selected occasions, Ozzy the Coverband/The Sonic Overlords will shed their skin and become “Sabbath the Coverband” and offer the best and most beloved songs from the Ozzy era of Black Sabbath.
Sabbath the Coverband is also a “real” band, “The Sonic Overlords“, as they started writing their own songs in the style of what hard rock sounded like in the 70s and 80s. Think Black Sabbath, Dio, Rainbow etc. The band made a video for the song “In My Darkest Room”, sent it out as a demo, and then got record deal offers from 12 record labels.
The Sonic Overlords then chose to sign with the American label M-Theory Audio. The critically acclaimed debut album “Last Days Of Babylon” was released at the end of 2021 worldwide. New material is being worked on and will start recording in the spring, and maybe we will be able to offer a sample…
