Mia Karlsson is an appreciated live artist, singer and guitarist who in April makes her album debut as a singer/songwriter. With the new music she shows a musical breadth and songwriting in a more stripped-down format, very different from her background as a hard rock musician.
With personal and emotional lyrics and a voice that wanders between power and vulnerability, the singles released so far have been warmly received by listeners, and been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine France and Sveriges Radio P4, among others.
Mia is best known to rock audiences as Coldheart, singer and guitarist in the hard rock band Crucified Barbara, who after 8 years of silence have now reunited and among other things are playing Sweden Rock Festival this summer!
Since the first single release in September -24, Mia and her guitars have already a five-week European tour (supporting The Gems). In addition to diligent playing around Sweden in 2024, she has also previously toured the UK as a solo artist, and opened for Tony Joe White and Wishbone Ash in France.
