Angry by Nature
Angry By Nature is a musical power-house that have consistently been going from strength to strength over the past years, leading up to the Vinyl release of their debut album, Growl ‘n’ Roll, in October or November of this year. The album has had 9 singles released, and 5 video singles, with a 6th coming with the release of the album. These all have had good reception, with the strongest of these releases amassing close to 200 k streams, over different platforms.
When it comes to the local Gothenburg scene, Angry By Nature has previously had strong attendance at both DDRK and Rockbaren, with the latter selling between 110 and 130 tickets, a majority of which came for Angry By Nature. For the gig at Rockbaren, Angry By Nature especially chartered a bus, where ticket price included both ticket to the show, homebrewed beer, and t-shirts, which completely sold out.
Angry By Nature is also doing shows in Stockholm late November this year at Pub Anchor, and would like to arrange something in Gothenburg as well, to both celebrate the new album and to support the strong crowd they have in Gothenburg. Please get back to us, and we can look into getting something sorted.
pORq
The alternative/groove metal band pORq was formed in 2015 as a side project to record songs that lead singer Babylon Jackson had been lying around since the late 90s/early 2000s.
Besides obvious American influences, the music was also inspired by a very specific Gothenburg sound from the same period (LOK, Psycore, etc.). Once the band started playing live, the idea of wearing masks was hatched (inspired by bands like Slipknot, Mr Bungle, GWAR and Mushroomhead).
The band is in the process of writing and recording new material and as everyone knows, there is no better way to test new material than to play live.
