When it comes to contemporary speed and thrash metal, there are few bands that can stand toe-to-toe with Germany’s VULTURE.

Establishing their status with 2016’s “Victim To The Blade EP” and 2017’s “The Guillotine” and cementing their reputation with 2019’s “Ghastly Waves And Battered Graves”, they now return with the mighty “Dealin’ Death”, one of the most ruthless records the genre has seen.

And death shall be dealt out when VULTURE hits the stage of The Abyss at the first instance of the Underground Resistance festival!

STEEL INFERNO is a raging speed metal machinery straight outta Copenhagen.

In the last decade Steel Inferno has been among the local frontrunners in the resurging new wave of traditional heavy metal. The band’s renowned third full length album “Evil Reign” is a ferocious metal assault on the ears that leaves no one spared. Expect high octane SPEED METAL with a powerful and energetic live show!

All the way from Slovakia comes ACID FORCE, a thrashing speed metal band that has put out an EP and two full length albums since their formation in 2014.

The latest album, “World Targets In Megadeaths”, came out on Jawbreaker Records in November 2023. Expect a heavy load of thrashing metal fury, heavily sprinkled with melody and traditional Heavy Metal vibes, superbly delivered with a punk-metal attitude and need for speed.

If Sweden became a hub for death metal when the decadent yuppie era of the 80s was on the autopsy table, DISARRAY was born right into the galloping chaos and disorder that defines a world in a state of dissolution.

Just like when thrash was new, it’s a global crisis that underlies the new wave of young bands that blend the ethos of punk with the technical dexterity of the metal genre. The difference now is that the very epicenter of the movement has moved significantly closer to the mental precipice where climate crisis, pandemic, AI threats and terror wars make it impossible to numb one’s anxiety with video games or drugs.

Since the start in 2022, DISARRAY has played extensively on Stockholm’s underground scenes and in the summer of 2023 released the mini-album “Evil is Reborn”. Pre-production of a full-length album (to be released on Jawbreaker Records in 2024) has just begun.
