Formed in 2003 by brothers HaaN (Carpathian Forest) and HansFyrste (ex-Ragnarok), Svarttjern have spent over two decades delivering some of the most uncompromising black metal to come out of Norway.
With members drawn from Carpathian Forest, Endezzma, Vulture Lord, and Magister Templi, the band channels raw aggression through a filthy blend of black metal, thrash, and rock’n’roll — beholden to no trends, no scenes, and no expectations.
