TORCH was formed in Eskilstuna in the early 1980s and was part of the first wave of Swedish heavy metal. With classic songs like “Warlock,” “Beauty & The Beast,” and “Watcher Of The Night,” they established themselves early on in the European metal scene and are today a recognized name in traditional heavy metal.
In 2020, Torch made an official comeback with the album Reignited, which marked a clear fresh start and re-establishment on the live scene. Since then, they have played at festivals including Sweden Rock, Skogsröjet, and Keep It True, proving that Torch is an active and relevant band—not a nostalgia project.
They are now in the spotlight with their upcoming album Trail Of The Damned, released via Metalville. The album builds on their classic heavy metal sound with modern production and a strong live vibe.
